Navigating the new-look SBO site, I decided to look into the Off-Topic forums.
I hadn't peeked in here in several years.

Lo-n-behold, the Boat Babe on Strike thread is still up?
The thread was started what, 12 years ago....will it ever close?

I wonder what was the last time she posted anything?
Time for me to get back to the real forums.

Must be one of those Northern French since no self respecting Central Frenchman would misspell
C'est La Guerre. Grandma was from Acheres, Cher, Central France for me. Vive la France mon amie. Oh yeah, the babe had one helluva run. Over 1 million views ain't bad. Way to go Babe, Queen of SBO. Long live the Queen.

hum i never had a french philly cheese steak but i did eat the best one in the world in wilmington delaware about 3 years ago the place had a steel grill about 4x8 ft and meat piled about 18 inches high ...red on top and brown on the bottom and when you ordered the sandwich he dug it off the bottom and it was enough for two people to be miserable eating just the one ....hope all is well with you

NB,

I ate more Pat's steaks than Geno's but, it's hard to make that call man.
I was living in center city so both were close by.
So like me, you too are a damn YANKEE!
Ya know, the northerner who moved down here & STAYED.

But that's cool, as most of my friends here are Florida Crackers & they too own sailboats.
I also discovered that "Cracker" is a term of endearment here in the South if spoken
by non-other than a true "DAMN YANKEE."

ps: I went to Cardinal Dougherty High school & graduated in '68.

Man - you youngster!
Northeast High '62, Drexel '67. Many friends went to CDH. Worked Philly Shipyard and tenant NAVSES 62 - 73, which is when I spent time eating at both Pat's and Geno's. Newport, RI since 73 - love the sailing in this area. We have cruised from northern Maine to Southern Fla. We have visited/explored Fla west coast and like it, especially your Tampa area - many Boat Babes so you shouldn't be missing much (other than the C steak wit) (which for those not from Philly- if you don't specify they ask "witorwitout" (one word) which refers to whether you want onions on the C steak)

NB,

We used to go to Brookline dance on Friday nights. We always got into fights with Northeast guys.
It was the first time I was sucker punched on a dance floor. My first job was as a draftsman for JJ Henry Corp in center city. They were naval architects. I worked on 2 nuclear subs and the double hulled ASR21 & 22 ships.
One ASR was used in the movie Grey Lady Down with Charlton Heston.
Hoe bout that pal. ps: remember "geetyet or, no djew?"

Just,
Nice bow pic pal. One question, how hard was it to Photoshop the picture??? HA HA.
