Why is the thread closed? Happy to see some of the archived stuff back but where will the boat babe continue? I enjoyed Brian and Steph's vacation diaries on the Hunter photo forums also, where did they go? I was looking forward to reading , and of course seeing, the latest trip.

...unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to post our most recent trip log (Bahamas 2008). It is largely complete, so I just need to carve a few hours out of our schedule to post it.

Currently in Annapolis... Steph flew in to meet me (conjugal visit).

Just wanted to say thanks for showing up down here in Southeast Texas. We keep our boat in Port Arthur Texas, it is a little east of were yall were staying. Our Yatch club was almost a total lost:cry:, almost all of the boats in the marina were washed up on shore. The folks in Galveston were lucky to have the Boat Babe:dance:, just whised we could of had the same.

...It was incredibly sobering to see the damage. There was one individual standing in the middle of the interstate next to his sailboat, crying... it truly broke our hearts to see that.

I can clearly remember in 2004 many, many vehicles rolling in from TX to help us Floridians after Frances, Jeanne, Charlie, etc. It was the least that we could do in return to help out as we could... Our only wish is that it could have been more.

Steph and I both hope that all of you in the affected areas come through this, and get your lives back to the way they were before Ike. You all remain in our thoughts & prayers.

yes, I just leaned to do that... I just found out that all of the photos that I took at Annapolis were with a broken camera... the auto focus is/was screwed. :cussing:
