Hunter 260 Eau Claire
Does anybody know if a Hunter 260 can sit on the trailer without the centerboard ? I want to refurbish my centerboard over the winter. There is weight that the centerboard supports and was wondering if, without the centerboard, there will be too much weight on the bunks alone ?

In a week send a private message as there should be freedom of movement while boat on trailer. You need to raise the bunk boards

Will discuss with you. Hopefully others will chime in.

According to SailboatData.com the trailering weight of the 19-2 is 1500 lbs/680 kg. It is a water ballast boat.

My info came from the top post I went back and whoever posted it, put the 23.5 info in. The full manual verifies @twistedskipper put in. My apology

always verify the info to the boat in the side boat picture

I was involved in the design, introducing and ending production. That is why I went back to check. It was my design of the 23.5 and should have caught myself when I first looked

@Phil Herring
Under Hunter boat information for 19-2 for 1993-1996 under downloads, can you remove the first manual that is the smallest as it relates to the 23.5?

it is confusing and I did not catch it at first.
