As you can guess I'm upgrading and rennovating an O'Day 222 and using this forum alot ! Does anyone know anything about a blue paint or sealant that is used to coat the inner hull (lower half) of O'Days ? Mine was stored for several years, and some water got inside and sat. There is a blue, vinyl-like paint or sealant covering the fiberglass on the inside of the hull. In some of the wetter places this seems to have pealed off. I was wondering: what it is what it does is it important to re-seal, and if so: where can I get it are there any tricks to application Thanks, especially to all those who have been regularly responding me and helping me spend money.........(it's a boat......) You Don't need it!!!!

It was a factory Cosmetic product. Dry the boat good, and if you want to repaint go ahead. However it is not neccesary.
