Calling all Sailors, I want to replace my safety lines on my Hunter Legend 37 and also the blue hull stripe tape along the waterline. Does anyone know where can I obtain these items? Thanks in Advance Barrie
I assume that you mean life lines. I had mine replaced a few years ago by a local rigger. I have a painted water line, but the cove stripes are tape. The tape can be acquired from Hunter. There are also web sites where you can purchase the tape, also. I don't know the URL's, but you can probably GOOGLE for them.
Either a local rigger (as Paul suggested) or you can send your old ones in to West Marine's rigging shop and they will make new ones and send them back.
Popeyes Marine in the Everett Marina, a bit of a drive for you. Most WM stores carry the materials and crimping tools to do it yourself. They have a store in Blaine, but call first. As long as the end fasteners are okay, all you need besides the cable are the swage fittings. Verify which ones are RH threaded and LH threaded. Take your old lines with you to verify length.
