Is there a blower in engine compartment ? Required ?

I don't think there is one and I don't think there is one required for diesel powered boats - correct ?

No blower required

Blowers are required for gasoline engines because the fumes sink into the bilge and are potentially lethal. Diesel has a much higher threshold for ignition, compared to -45 degrees for gasoline. You're fine.

Engine compartment ventilation with a diesel is not essential but is useful only to cool the compartment.

Blowers

A blower is not needed for Diesels and I have had 2 Hunters with factory installed blowers and I do use them only to help exhaust the heat from the engine compartment.

Mine came with a factory exhaust blower (orange hose), I think to get rid of excess engine heat, also a they included a fresh air engine intake (grey hose) because of an engine fire suppression system. It works well to keep the boat cool after a day of motoring.
A few hundred pounds of cast iron radiating heat for a couple of hours after you set the anchor can warm up the cabin in a tropical setting.......
