Hello Sailors! I was just curious if there was a flea market style rigging swap here online or if people were interested in developing one? Isn’t it nice to trade or buy rigging a ton cheaper then West Marine has it for? Let me know your thoughts.

Swap parts

Sometimes you can pick stuff up on Ebay, but watch the shipping. I wish someone would start a swap meet for us, I have some stuff I'd like to get rid of LOL

Swap Meet A Great Idea

I second Mel's feelings on setting up a swap meet. Us novice sailors could really use a place to pick up not only equipment, but also ideas from more veteran sailors to get our boats up to speed.

Fisheries has a real big one in Seattle

and I am taking a truck full of stuff. It is on the Saturday the 11th across from Gas Works Park. Starts officially at 0800 I think but I go the night before and shop by flashlight starting at about 0200 if not on Friday night. At 0800 much of the good stuff is sold. It is on the street and in the Mariners Square parking lot so - no entrance fee and Fisheries always has discount stuff on the sidewalk too. I am just across the border from Vancouver, eh. What are you looking for anyway?
