Mr. Blisters,
All polyester boats can and do get blister regardless of who manufactured them.
Vynal Ester and Epoxy have no records of blisters at this time, but those hull are somewhat expensive...
Blisters are just a condition that can be repaired. And a repaired hull is safe.
Some waters are more prone to blistering than others, but it can happen in any water. Generally blisters are less a problem in the north where boats are pull for the winter and hull dries out.
Blisters are the result of moisture getting into polyester resin and gel coats. Most often the issue occurs at the gel coat - polyester margin because of the diffences in permeablity.
You only live one time. If you like boat and it has blisters, fix them and sail away with the wind.
