Adrian,
Prior to my purchase of 'Alkira of Mersea' - V1775, in September of last year I had heard very reassuring reports about the resistance of the type to blistering / osmosis.
A previous owner of Alkira had done a decidedly half hearted job of scraping off old antifouling / repainting and hence the surface was extremely uneven.
It was therefore decided earlier this year that the whole lot would have to come off and a new antifiouling system applied from square one.
I can therefore testify that after completely removing any trace of old paint and then sanding the hull down, I examined every square inch below the waterline and I didn't spot anything amiss.
(My doctor says the numerous aches and pains will reduce in time !!)
By the way, Alkira was built in 1975.
Hope this is useful, good luck with your search.

Subject: [AlbinVega] blisters & osmosis Hi all
I'm looking into getting a Vega, and the only concern left is
osmosis/blistering. How do they behave, is there any blistering happening ?
Thank you
