Here is numerous articles on blisters and repairs. There is probably more information on blisters here than you will ever want to read. Some of it is Very interesting and much of it is very redundant. I did this several weeks ago, you never know when these links will become unavailable but they all worked when I captured them. I think if you cut and paste this into an email, you will be able to click on each of the links. Doug!

Hope this helps. There is a ton and a half of info out here. Depending on the condition of the blisters there are several solutions. Be sure to wear eye protection when you open the blisters up. They MAY contain ACID. It is worse than getting the gel coat and bottom paint in your eyes.

Great Work

Thanks Steve for this compilation. This has taken a bit of time and effort on your part and I appreciate it. There are lots of links that were new for me. Don

Will you proof Trilogy III for me?

Steve, I already had some of these and a few articles, plus the "round robin" that we did a few weeks ago. However you have a lot more here than I knew about. I wrote a cursory overview of the causes of blisters for the IG newletter and it's to be posted on the gelcoat and Plastics Forum. I'll lool over these sites and try to incorporate new stuff Plus the round robin. I am now writing the repair part - I would be very grateful if you could co-write this with me. I am trying to get this out within the next week or so, first as a newsletter then to be posted on the forum. By the way I hope to haul my boat over the Christmas period! Regards Jim
