OK guys and gals...continuing my upgrade of my "new" 94 30T..installing the latest Raymarine Wheelpilot...how did you handle installing the rudder angle indicator? Instructions show it must be parallel to rudder, but there is no space for it because, obviously, the quadrant takes up all the space...A call to Raymarine yielded the suggestion to mount the unit forward of the Quardrant on some sort of DIY platform, and jury rig an arm from the indicator assembly to the side of the quadrant...of course the unit will be exposed to lots of water, so i was told to disassemble the unit by unscrewing the 4 screw on the bottom, epoxy inside the housing, reassemble and all would be ok...whats the buzz out there???
