I had asked for a lead to obtain a folding prop for my OMC saildrive. Found one and put it on my boat this spring and it was great until one blade fell off! Anyone have a spare blade? I sure would love to buy it if you do. Thanks, Gary

Name of Prop

I don't have a folding prop, but if I was in the market it would be nice to know the name of the one you have so I could avoid it.

Why don't you contact the mfg for the part.

I would think you would send the entire unit back to them for repair and rebalance.

Parts for folding and feathering props are generally not interchangeable. Likely you need to send the entire unit in to have two new blades matched and balanced with the hub.

In all likelihood, the loss of the blade was due to improper installation or subsequent damage, not to a deficient product.

Would this option likely approach the cost of a complete replacement?

I thought you might have had some anecdotal info given your experience in the field. I don't have a need beyond curiosity, myself.
Have never had a folder lose a blade. In fact, I have only ever seen two kinds of props lose blades- fixed blade and the infamous Autoprop. I'm not even sure how a 2-blade folding prop (assuming that's what the OP is referring to) could lose a single blade. The blades usually rotate on a single pivot pin. If one were free to fall off, they both would be.
