Hey all, hope sailing is been good to you all this summer. In my anchorage we have gulls and terns that really make a mess of our boats. Some years its worse than others, seems like we are havin one this year. My bimini and dodger canvas is a mess, I rinse it at the mooring, is there someting I can maybe soak them in after the season? Not so much the dodger as its got the windows inm it?? thanks Red

I put a flag pole (pig stick) at the top of my mast. This is the best thing I have found to keep birds away. I still get a small bird once in a while but the big birds are staying away.

I have not tried this yet, but it occurred to me that the spray that you can buy at the pet stores for cleanup of pet eliminations may work for removing the bird droppings.

If you try this, please post and let us know the results.
