I am a grad student with Antioch University doing a project about sustainable fuels.I'd like to know from fellow boaters if you've heard about it, or if you've ever used it. Thanks!
I know it is available in California. I haven't used it or seen it used in Washington. It's Supposed to degrade existing (rubber?)deisel fuel lines so they need replacement before using biodeisel. I did hear that the best advantage to the fuel is that instead of the nautious exhaust of diesel, you get the smell of french fries! yum! (no kidding)
Todd: Sugguest you search Google for more details on bio diesel. All is not what it appears, as usual, with the oil (not energy) industry. There was an extensive article about bio diesel in Professonal Baot Builder a few monhts back, it was informative and objective. It amazing how politics can cloud what seems to be a technical issue. Happy researching!
