I was on the internet looking for preventing overheating of diesel engine, when I came across this product call rydlyme marine descaler ( I have no connect with this product other than being a customer). I have not try this product and wanted to know if anyone here had use this product.I think it would be good pre-maintanence for diesel engine, which would clean internal part of the raw cooling system of deposit build-up, especially heat exchanger etc. I like to know if anyone use product is happy with the result or not happy. I call to see what is cost. The price was 30.00 for a gallon, so hoping to hear good result.
Thanks
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL.

RydLyme has become a 'standard' in the 'boiler and heat exchanger' as well as the marine industry for descaling calcium, etc. deposition, including 'zebra mussel shells'.

Doesn't get much better than Rydlyme for cleaning out an engine. I have two gallons in my shop right now.. For your HX I find you are better to remove it and clean it, or drop it at a radiator shop and have them clean and pressure test it.. It works great in the FW side of the cooling system but can also clean HX's... I mostly use it for fresh water side cleaning of coolant sludge or RW cooled engines..
