ODAY 25 Lake Travis
Any one know where to get a 'budget friendly' one of these ? its not that im cheap, its just that my whole (pretty extensive) resto project is about 2 1/2 - 3k... as far as i can tell Biminy wants about $1500... What?!? i just want some protection from the Texas sun, it doesn't hafta be fancy, I don't need wind shields and zippers, no disco ball or smoke machine... just some protection that doesn't look half-ass.
Help me out fellas... Cheers, Happy New Year!
Gabriel.

I bought one for my oday 222 from either Boaters world ( no longer in buisiness) or west marine, I can't remember. They both have them. I believe it is made by Taylor. There was a standered length, 6 feet I think, and you choose the width and hight you need. You could get it in colored sunbrella or white vinyl, the latter being cheaper. I have used mine for 5 years and still looks good and performs even better.

I looked online and I don't think mine is made by Taylor. Taylors all have a fixed hight, the one I have you can set the hight between a certain range. You have to cut the poles to the hight . Boaters world is actually still online and west marine both cary Taylor biminis. Overtons has the one that I have and seemed to be in the $200 range.

See my reply on the "Ask an O'DAY Owner" discussion, I have one of the OVERTON Biminis on our small powerboat. Price will be in the $150-250 range for their sharkskin polyester (like Dacron sail cloth) add about $20 +/- for the Sunbrella version. You may have to modify it to go around the backstay, (I forgot about the 25 having a traveler in my other reply) but even if you need to pay a canvas guy to do the work it will still be a lot less total than that $1500.00 quote for custom!
