My boat has a bimini installed and the aft port deck mount hinge sometimes slides forward an inch or two on the track causing the bimini to get out-a-wack.

The issue is that the two screws that hold the hing by being screwed into the Teflon sliding block "inside the track" have stripped out the threading in the Teflon block, and so the hing is loose, you really cant screw into Teflon without stripping it out anyway, in an effort to tighten the hing from sliding forward.

The first pic shows the hing removed with the Teflon sliding block exposed, the second is the opposite side of the bimini all assembled.

Not sure why you need a track? I assume once the bimini is set up the mounting bracket stays in one place. Why not just mount it in that position and get rid of the track? Another option is to make the slider out of metal and maybe glue a few thin Teflon strips to the sliding surfaces if needed.

Do you use the slider when you retract the bimini frame? or is it typically in that position? My mounts are fixed.

I never move it but i noticed it has shifted a little because the scews no longer can tighten to hold the slider block and i found the parts. Thanks

Yeah, IMHO lose the track, the end caps look a bit tired anyway and go with fixed mounts.
