I just purchased a 1986 Catalina 27 tall mast. This is my first sailboat although I sailed a lot when I was a kid. I would like to put a quality Bimini top on her but not really sure where to turn or how to go about it. Any recommendations?

i suggest you consult a local canvas shop since you will want all your canvas to match in color(ie - sail cover, dodger, etc). make sure the stitching matches too (black, blue or white thread). also, i dont think there will an exact fit unless you have it custom made. make sure the "window" is cut correctly so you can see the windex at the masthead too. best ~$1000 i ever spent.
