322 bimini
I am currently working on a bimini for my 322. The problem is the boom crosses over the cockpit at about 5'8". Not good for a 6 footer. The sister ship at my marina must lower the bimini when using the mainsail. Not good for sailing. The solution my be to have the bimini higher aft of the boom and lower under the boom to allow free clearance when tacking. This does not permit standing in a majority of the cockpit. Another more difficult solution my be to raise the boom 6 inches. However this requires a mainsail recut. It looks like I provided more questions than answers. capt. hook
