Bimini top First 310

Hello,I'am considering adding a bimini top to my First 310, and would like to know if anyone who has that model has done it, and how. The boom on this model is very low, and normal biminis would not work.I will appreciate if someone can give some insight into this issue.Thank you,Jerry Marques

Stern Rail Mount

Hi Jerry -I don't know the configuration of the 310 real well. One thing you see on boats with low booms are bimini's which mount to the stern rails and are fairly short, offering shade for the helms person and people sitting in the aft part of the cockpit. The BeneteauOwners.net offers custom bimini's so maybe they could fil you in on the stern rail mounted versions.

My dealer came up with one that gives sitting head room for the crew and a little more for the helm.
