Ok. I'm having a lot of trouble with what seems trivial. My old bimini straps have failed... I bought new Whitecap ones but cannot figure out how to attach them such that they don't eventually loosen up.

They are setup like this. There is a D-ring sewn to one end. There is another loose D-ring and a tri-bar slide. I need to attach these straps to the top tube of the bimini and the other end to the rail. Any idea how the heck this is supposed to work? I can't find any useful examples on the Net anywhere!

If you have a decent sewing machine you can easily sew new ones to match the old ones.

My date's top bikini strap broke when she fell off her water skiis. No injury resulted.
