I just purchased a set of Taylor-made slides for my Precision 28. My bimini is split due to the mainsheet arrangement and the forward bimini collapses in such a way as to block the entrance to the companionway. The slides seem like the best way to handle the problem. My concern is that the slides do not have a locking feature. Is this a problem when the bimini is in the up position? Anyone use these slides? Thanks
