The bimini on our 37.5 Legend is about 12 years old and in need of replacement. The bimini fits on stainless steel tubes and covers (with a fairly tight fit) the entire cockpit area. We would like to take to bimini to a local canvas shop and have them use the old bimini as a pattrern for the new one. The boat is 270 mile away. Naturally, we are concerned about the fit. Does anyone have experience using the old bimini as the pattern for the new one without the boat being available for a fitting?
