Beneteau Oceanis 370 TBM
Hi everyone. I will be taking ownership of 1993 Beneteau Oceanis 370 and would like to add a Bimini to it. Any good recommendations for companys in the SE Michigan / Wayne county area?

Thanks

I purchased my replacement Bimini from our host SBO and am very pleased with it.
You have to be able to do the install yourself though.

I made my own after purchasing a set of frames first. It was pretty easy to make and saved a bundle over a custom unit from a loft. I agree you should look at SBO or others, Biminis are pretty common items and you can buy them pre-made but if you want a custom fit to your boat with enclosures and such you'll need to find a good canvas shop.
They are easy to install, just two deck fittings so you have to drill four holes in your boat, all the rest can be done with fittings, tubing, and the stern pulpit. I've seen one set up that has the whole mount on the stern pulpit so no holes drilled in the boat at all.

Gentleman by the name of Mike Raber did the mooring covers for our little 18' bow-rider powerboat. Came highly-recommended from a fellow sailor. He was neither the most nor least expensive quote, he did excellent work and he was on-time. I don't know if he's in the same place, but, at the time, he was working out of a boat yard just a short way up the Salt River from the NW corner of Anchor Bay on Lake St. Clair. If you're interested, PM me and I'll give you his phone number.
