Does anyone know of an out-of-the-box bimini that will fit an H25, or am I better off having one made. Thanks in advance, Jim

Probably best having one made but.....

you can probably find one at Overtons or one of the other catalogs that will work. When you compare pricing don't forget quality. Check to see what type of material the frame is made of and the size. Also the ready made ones are usually NOT Sunbrella.

Bimini for hunter 25

Hi Jim I have a 1978 Hunter 25 and I bought a bimini for it a couple of years ago. It was purchase straight out of the box. If you decide to buy the standard the size you'll need is the three bow 54"x6' 73-80" model. This is mounted by your toe rail and the wall of the cockpit on the deck. What I also did was to mount it on a track with sliders so it could be moved forward when your docked so you can move the bimini over the campanionway if it starts to rain. The only modifications you have to do is move the bailer on the boom about 12 inches forward so you can use the mainsheets. I"m 5'11" tall and I can stand in the cockpit and still have a couple of inches to spare.Adding a bimini is probably the best comfort item you'll spend your money on especially when your out on the Ocean and the wind dies as it often does in july in these parts Best of Luck Bill Coughlin sv Wind Dancer

Try Overtuns

Jim, You can get a nice bimini from Overtuns for less than $200. Just measure carefully. Don't be afraid to try their "Sharkskin" fabric. I've had two for two of my past boats and both served me well. I will be ordering a third fo my latest boat, a 1977 H-33
