Bimini for a Catalina 27

My husband I own a 1986 Catalina 27 and we need to retrofit her with a bimini for a 6'3" skipper. Luckily, our traveller is mounted on the cabin and the boom does not go as far back as the pedestal, so these are not "obstacles". Has anyone ever installed one on their boat or have any suggestions. BIMINI CUSTOM

I am makeing a bimini for my C28. and it must be high enough for my 6'2' son. I will make it to ga BEHIND the backstay giving a larger area of coverage anf then it will fold uo from each side to the backstay. The boot will be cut to fit with the backstay. good luck Dave
