will the cat 25 take a bimini top ??i notice the boom is a bit low to allowmuch clearance for a bimini ??if so, is there a specific supplier ??what dimensions ?????best regards:john s.

Bimini on 25

Our 25 came with a bimini top. We have raised the rear of the boom to accommodate the bimini. We have sailed with the bimini up and without the bimini. The bimini definitely makes the cockpit much more bearable comfort wise, but hinders visibility at the tiller and changes the trim of the main. We go back and forth on whether or not it is appropriate to sail with the bimini on. I'd like to hear how other 25 owners are doing this also.
