Bilgewater Mystery

I have never had bilgewater after rain until this year in my Abbott22. I put a tarp over the companionway and cabin top and clear clean water ends up in the bilge after a rainfall. I cannot find traces or trails to suggest where it's coming from. All on deck fittings appear still in good shape and we are no talking about bilgewater after torrential downpours.
Any suggestions how to trace the cause ?

It could be any number of things - hatches, mast step, cockpit drains as Sue said. You may need to be on the boat during a rainfall to see if you can see the leak as it's happening. I did that on a sailboat we used to have, and sure enough, I saw the leak as it was happening.

How much water and how much rain?

Get inside the boat and have someone hit it with a hose.
