New to the forums. Just a quick Question for you guys........ I am looking for a 12V pump that will need to fit a few criteria: 1. MUST be rated for continuous use (will need to run 24/7). 2. Minimum flow rate at 0 head is 10L/min. 3. The smaller the better. 4. 1/2" ID hose connectors preffered (but not essential). Thanks in advance Andy T

Bilge pump or Fresh Water Pump?

Not sure why you are saying it needs to run constantly? Rule makes decent bilge pumps with half inch fittings, but they typically won't run dry. And I am not sure they are rated to run constantly. If you are looking for a live-well pump, then there are pumps specifically for this, but again I am not sure they are designed to run for months on end. Why are you looking for continuous duty? I think the continuous duty requirement will push you into the larger industrial pump category. You can probably find a bilge pump - of the $300 variety - that will work, but I bet you could do better looking for an industrial pump supplier.

Pump?

All right, you got my attention! Maybe it would help if you describe just what it is you plan to do with this pump. Form sometimes follows function in boats===but not always.

Huh??

Why would you connect a continuous duty pump for a non-continuous power source??
