bilge under V-berth

I want to know how to connect the bilge under the V-berth with the main bilge above the keel.I want to install a chain locker under the V-berth and need a means to drain that area into the main bilge.Any suggestions?(Also I'm getting tired of having to sponge up water from under the V-berth.)

I know what you mean. I have my knot meter up front, and I hate to pull out.Because the water has nowhere to go. I hope find away. Bruce Sirocco /Catalina 30

V berth bilge

I have a C27 with the same problem, I don't have a solution yet, but I'm working on it. My holding tank is just aft of the V berth bilge, I may drill into that chamber, but that chamber is also sealed and will require modification. I'll post my solution when I find it.
