Hi This may be a odd question but I will ask anyway.In the bilge of the O'Day30 my Uncle just bought there is a manual (gusher type)pump that is hooked by a 1 1/2" corrugated hose going to a fitting on the bottom of the bilge just outboard of centerboard trunk.At this time the outlet of this pump has no hose on it.The discharge may have been on the transom in the past.The pump is mounted under the helm seat.What is this pump?Does this pump a lower bilge area?Is there some kind of tank in the centerboard trunk?I just don"t know.
