under the starboard side setee there is what says ( according to the paper label) to be a bilge pump. It doesn't seem to working and was wondering if this is the original one or not.It is secured to a board that is epoxied to the hull itself. It looks to be factory? There is a bilge pump and switch directly under the floorboard in front of the engine, that is the one that does work and sends water out the starboard side rear. Is this like everyone elses? Just wondering if I should test and activate the under the seat one it or leave it or remove it? It seems to have a filter of some sorts about a foot away. Not sure if its on the intake or exhaust side. Thanks

I beleive you are looking at an in-line shower pump Bilge pumps are usually in the Bilge Sump Basically on my 82 Allmand 31 "Island Rose" I have a pump in this area that is controlled by a switch in the head. It pumps the Shower overboarrd when in use. Doug Caron

thank you

is that the push pull switch in the head? I thought is was for a fan (long since removed).Where is your switch located and I'look for a holewhere it should be. I have a tank full light on the outside wall that stays on . I discovered the sump pump by accident today/ I filled the hose running to the bilge pump and It came out in the head. Fingered that one all by myself. Thanks for your help
