For those not on the AVA email list, here is what is planned:

Schedule of events:.**

Friday, July 24th: Arrivals, Welcomes and check in
Sundown-ish: "Toasting the Fleet".
Followed by: Barbeque at the San Juan YC (Optional)

Followed by: Visiting, telling of tall tales, sea stories and the usual Tom Foolery.*

After that: The traditional Pot Luck dinner

Russel Saddler will be on hand to talk to us about the Orcas.

Sunday, July 26th: Hang around or depart

IMPORTANT NOTE: We will splice the main brace whenever a ship's bell sounds throughout the event.

*ANOTHER IMPORTANT NOTE: Impromptu dinghy races, songfests, dancing and fistfights may break out at any time. Leah Seal will be responsible for organizing any excessive drinking or brawling. (To be honest, in nine years we have never had any serious problems with dancing at a Rendezvous except for that time at Port Browning when Gene Suess fell down the stairs.)

**This is, of course, a joke and subject to change without notice.

Burgees will be available for sale at the Rendezvous. You can pick one up from Chuck or Laura or order on-line at the web site. $20 if we can hand it to you, $22.50 if we have to mail it.

Aloha a hui ho!
