Bilge Pump

Has anyone updated the tiny original one with one that goes to the bottom? I have a pump that fits into the hole in the middle and a float switch. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Are you asking about a Hunter 285 in the Beneteau forum? Have pics where you want to place one?

Are you looking to install a larger or second bilge pump, install a separate float switch or something else? Consider a primary RULE 1500 bilge pump with a Rule-A-Matic float switch and a secondary RULE 4000 bilge pump with a Rule-A-Matic float switch, wired to high bilge water alarm.

Consider using smooth bore discharge hose instead of that corrugated junk that lowers the effective discharge rate
