The Bilge Pump needs replacing in our almost newly purchased Catalina 30 1985 - old bilge pump (West Marine 2000 Gph 12 V with Rule-a-matic switch max. 14 AMP up to 32 VDC. What would you suggest? Thanks

Ours just bit the dust, too. After a little
research, we're replacing ours with the Attwood Sahara 1100 with integral switch. It's smaller and fits in the bilge quite nicely. Easy to wire up. Three-year warranty. We bought ours at Defender. Saved $20 over WM and BoatUS. It's GPH is less but in reality GPH doesn't mean a whole lot. If we have to worry about 1100 gph as opposed to 2000 gph, we have a whole lot more to worry about!
