Does anyone know the model of the bilge pump on the Yamaha 33 vintage 1981. I believe it is a "Henderson Chimp 2". I need to find some service parts but am unsure of the model.
The flange around my Y33 says " Made In England by Henderson Pumps and Equip Ltd., 38 Medina, Cowes, Isle of Wight" On the pump handle socket it says "CHIMP RH"
I was forced to rebuild my old pump by going to West Marine, buying a rebuild kit from their stock and using only portions of it along with my old pump that wasn't worn out. I actually made the pivot mechanism by crafting it out of some scrap alluminum that I found in the gagage. Knock on wood! So far it has worked well when I have tested it at the start of the season.
