That makes sense. I'm waiting for the Fox & Hound to arrive before I start trying to rewire anything else. My uncle, an old salt, said I should also just put in an additional bilge pump because I'll never be upset about having two and I can wire the new one correctly and then worry about the old one.
I was thinking I want a 110 AC bilge pump so I could disconnect the batteries and put them somewhere warm for the winter rather than rely on them for the most important job on the boat. Any thoughts on that?
