Hi Guys, Before we started cruising 5 yrs ago my wife had her own all girl crew and raced our 33 hunter and 35.5 Hunter very successfully. After 5 years she picked up where she left off racing {in the non-spin class) a not very well prepared 37.5 Hunter to 2nd place in the Navy Yacht Club Bikini Regatta here in Pensacola, Florida. The only boat to beat her was a race prepared spin boat with plastic sails that dropped down in the non=spin class for a "sure thing" trophy. In our area very rarely does a boat race non-spin race equiped with plastic sails. Are any of you other girls doing any racing in a Hunter. You don't have to spend a lot of money to race in non=spin. Most boats here race non-spin with dacron sails. It is a great way to have fun, make friends and learn great sail and boat handling skills. Talk it up, I'm sure there are more Hunters out there racing than we are hearing about. Don & Lisa of Shaman
