Well guys and gals, I'm heading out tomorrow for two weeks on my biggest sail yet on Ge'Mara. I'm pretty stoked!
My first evening on Saltspring Island will include meeting up with the author of my favourite book, "The Water in Between." (Highly recommended)
The next day we will by tying up in Victoria harbour which will be just simply cool. After that we're heading up the Strait of Juan de Fuca past the "graveyard of the Pacific" and out into the open ocean with a view to visiting Barkley Sound on the outside of Vancouver Island.
Thanks to all who have provided sage advice on the run-up to this trip. It may seem like a small jaunt to many of you but it's a pretty big deal for me! Looking forward to letting you know how it goes.
