Heading back to the US tomorrow with a window that could get us into NC by Thur. Its never certain but maybe this one will be. Good bye beaches, good bye rum, good bye tiki bars, good bye sun.

How far north do you intend to go? Heck, I would love to go south one year and then go North to Maine in the summer. The Chesapeake Bay is awful in July and August for the heat, you might as well have stayed in the Bahamas except for the hurricanes!

LOL, Used to just drink Beer- then when got to Bahamas, and found beer at $6 a bottle, and GOOD rum at $7 liter,, I switched. Quickly

Made it to Georgetown SC after 56 hours from Great Sale Cay. Learned a lot about riding the gulf stream and counter currents near shore. Do it different next time. Local boater option Float Plan dropped my wife's number but the customs officer on the phone was nice enough to include her and accept the change to our itinerary. All the wave jumping shook up the fuel tank and the fuel filter clogged. When I switched to the second filter the engine stalled until I pumped the fuel to prime. I changed the other filter underway.
