I constructed the bi-pod that was posted on this site. Wow! The dimensions were perfect. It worked awesome. I extended a long rope out in front of the boat and my son held onto the mast. It went down quick, smooth and safe. Thanks for sharing the plan. It was well worth the 7 or 8 dollers I spent on materials.

Here is where to find the plans

Go to the archive. Put in: Tripod for steeping h23 mast. It was posted by Mr. Niffenegger. It came up #18 on he list. Hope this helps.
