It's april already so where is spring,I can't takeany more it's been so cold and all this rain. *cryI here some really warm weather is coming to NYthis weekend about time we need to get our boats ready for splash ;D Big grinI am do to splash the end of april so I am keepingmy fingers crossed for us all. ;D Big grin  Nick

Roger Houston we have a go.....

for launch... April 26. Should be in the water by the weekend... YAHOOO !!! High of 20 and 21 on Sat. & Sun. Oh that's 68 & 70 for those of you still using the old British sytem. Can't sleep .... can't eat..... can't sit still.

You are all so lucky. Most of the bays on Lake Champlain are still solid ice. Scheduled to launch May 25th......??????

Better weather on the way

and even through all the rain I have: restored battery power and checked the bilge pump (it works!), secured a new through hull to the boat for a knot meter (hope this is water tight - will find out 4/22), sanded down exterior teak and oiled it (lots of good that does after torrential rains) in preparation for varnish, changed jib halyard for new line with mast up (a few stitches and some duct tape), tried MaryKate 'On & Off' on freeboard (those stains do come out) and generally thought about nothing else but getting her ready for her date with Poseidon.Today begins bottom painting regimen.Good luck to all.
