PYI (800-523-7558) claims they have better mounts that Yanmar uses in the U.K. and are stiffer in the forward/backward direction. therefore reducing engine alignment problems... I am tempted to try them myself for my H33.5...cost about $ 48/50 per mount... Maybe someone has done this change...and write about their results?

Shaking Q's again

I discussed injection timing when you made a similar request a short while ago. If the engine is prone to shaking, that motion must go somewhere. If you lock the engine down so that it cannot shake, the next member takes the gaff. If you transmit the shaking forces directly into the engine bed (which was done for many years) the result of the shaking force is unpredictable. A poorly tuned Q engine may carry away the engine beds.
