I need to have a new engine to replace a defunct Volvo MD 6A in my Vega
(3283). I have found a boat yard near Victoria, BC (Canada) where they will
install a Beta BZ482 13.5 hp. From reading the newsgroup info, I feel this
is the best solution for my boat.
However, we don't know the shaft size or length or propellor size and won't
know until we get the present engine and the boat on the waves. I
understand you have supplied a kit for these parts. Could you please give
me an estimate of the cost of the kit and if you can ship to Canada and if
so, what length of time that would take, etc.
