best year for H 23.5

Sounds like something is restricting CB

I have a '94 23.5 and do not have a problem lifting my center board. There is a block installed to create a 2:1 purchase but I think that is a standard installation on the boat and not an owner add on. I am not a massive guy either (5'9" 158 lbs)so maybe there is something gunked up in the pivot point for the center board. Wher is Crazy Dave when you need him?

If the centerboard is really difficult to pull up if may also be the sheave that turns the line downward toward the centerboard at the mast base. These are prone to breaking and wearing out. Hope this helps. Alan Long
