I have to repair the rudders on a couple of Albacore sailing dinghys. The rudders are made up of several pieces of mahogany glued together along the edge to form a sheet whide enough to make the rudder. My question is what is the best glue to use? I believe my options are a waterproof wood glue or some type of epoxy. I have prepared the edges to be glued and was also considering using biscuits to further improve the joint. I know this question is not really related to keel boats but those of you who post topics and answers know so much about boat maintenance.

Try Gorilla glue, I think it is the best!

Gorilla Glue

I used it last year when I made a replacement floorboard for my dinghy. Stuff's great. Got it at Home Depot.
