Best way to store linens/towels etc on boat??

We've taken to putting towels, blankets, sheets, pillows, etc in the large vacuum bags widely available. We dont bother with the vacuuming, just zip them most of the way closed and squeeze the air out and zip em up. Also protects them if you happen to spring a leak altho I'm sure nobody ever gets any leaks inside their boats.

Use a large plastic trash bag with pull ties. fold the opening under the bottom.

We purchased a Storage Ottoman Bench from Target that doubles as a bench seat for the inboard side of the salon table. We store all our linens in it and they stay fresh, dry and neatly folded. Underway, it is shock corded to the table legs and at anchor it is either a foot rest for the bench seat to port or dinner seating for extra guests. No plastic bags needed!

Best way to store them is not on the boat. If you must then the vacuum style bags work okay. I prefer to take mine off of the boat each time. That way the wife can't complain about the boat smell! LOL

You don't mention if the boat is at a marina and powered up. Do you have A/C?

I take them home and wash them. I pull the comforter off of the boat and air it out.

Put a dehumidifier on the boat. Makes all difference.

Oh I get it. You guys have those wooden stick thingies on land with running water, lotsa space, plenty of electricity.
