i havent caught a bluefish yet but i love them they are deeeeelishus......dorado are easy to catcha nd fillet---reeling them in was easy and made me laugh--they plane on the surface as i reel in LOL...tuna were a bit more obstinate---and the spanish were realllly easy-----cant wait to go out in jan-feb and see what i catch on our way to virgins LOL.....last fish i tried to catch took off with my steel leader LOL...after bending my pole to half back on itself lol...heavy fish fight----so i will be having fun trolling for more this winter to spring.....gotta catch dinner !!!!!!

so should i get a louisville slugger gaff??? i have one here at home but not one in louseyannnny...LOL--i dont think they will allow me to bring a gaff on an airplane LOL....hard to splain ....."...yes, i am single...no i donot want to gaff the pilot.....no , i am going fishing for real fishies in the sea..." LOL

oh, jibes--have the cocktails in hand and when the fishie bites hook, bring it into boat and place put into bucket so he can breathe for a minuet....drink the cocktails, clean and eat fishie...LOL...have more cocktails ..LOL..

Gaff them to keep a hold on them (right through the gills and out the mouth) bring head to edge of gunnels and then bash their head with a billy (baseball bats work great), then haul them abord. Wash any blood off side of boat. Clean and eat as you care. Works for just about any size fish. And you don't waste the good stuff to be drunken, or is that drank, later.
