Wax on, Wax off...rubrail to waterline, elapsed time 90 minutes

Cabin cleaned and scrubbed, started loading up, tomorrow the outboard is out of the shed and into the water barrell, get him running! Can`t wait to get back on the river!

Just came in from doing the same. Only I think my boat has not been waxed since 1982. 3 hours and less than a quarter done.

Small boats have small problems

... but it's still taken quite a bit of buffing, compounding and polishing to restore the finish after 10+ years of neglect. We're doing the full MaineSail wax treatment.

Scrubbed a year's worth of grime from the deck and hull above the WL by hand in three hours. Another three hours to touch up the paint and we will look respectable from fifty feet away.

That is one but there are other advantages as boat expenses are usually measured at $/feet. Among these are slip fees,registration fees, insurance premiums, detailing fees, bottom cleaning fees etc.
