Our 8 hp outboard seems tired and has trouble pushing us into a 3.4 knot tide. Should we have a stronger outboard or is this a sign that the motor is just old and in need of a rebuild? We are in the SF bay area and I'm hesitant to go through the gate with a weak motor (should we need the backup)
